Speaker Bio
My career at Griffith University has been a long one, commencing in 1999, when I coordinated the distribution of tens of thousands of course study packages each year to students studying externally, across the country and the world. From there I moved into leadership, where my role was to lead the Digitisation and Distribution team, as learning resources became more and more available online. In 2014 my team was merged with the Corporate Archives and Records Management Services team (CARMS), a team name, to this day, has been very difficult to shake. Two more team name changes later and my team is now known as Information Management, which more accurately describes our role and responsibility.
A common theme to all my positions has been excellence in customer service. At Griffith University my passion comes from being able to deliver that standard of service by ensuring our corporate information is managed, preserved, secure and yet accessible to the staff that need it.
