Free3DHands is a non profit organisation, specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of hands and assistive devices using 3D printing technology, free of charge. Free3DHands is an industry leader in innovating assistive devices, eliminating the lead-time and costs associated with traditional manufacturing techniques. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Free3DHands repurposed the 3D printers to be able to print PPE face shields for essential workers. They have supplied face shields free of charge to several institutions including aged care facilities, schools, police and frontline medical staff.Free3DHands is currently in the prototyping stage of designing a low cost, multi-grip bionic arm.
