Free3DHands is a not profit organisation, specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of custom prosthetic devices using 3D printing technology, free of charge. Free3D Hands has revolutionised the prosthetic industry, eliminating the lead-time and costs associated with traditional manufacturing techniques. When the current COVID-19 pandemic struck, Free 3D hands repurposed the 3D printers to be able to print PPE face shields for essential workers. To date, they have supplied over 2500 face shields free of charge to several institutions including aged care facilities, schools, police and frontline medical staff.
